Our Story

The People’s Art Display (PAD) at Dartmouth College is the first immersive art gallery in the world built in a college dorm room. Founded by Dartmouth students Nikky Lewis and Brendan Costello, the gallery brings professional, curated works to life in a unique and intimate setting. What started as a vision while looking at the minimalistic white walls of the 1920 Topliff Residence Hall, is now the forefront gallery space on campus featuring interactive exhibits and original fine art from globally recognized artists. Utilizing interior design techniques and the latest lighting technology, the gallery stuns visitors in a one of a kind experience. The PAD aims to inspire students around the world to pursue their own creative ideas regardless of size.
